The multi award winning Drovers Arms, set in the tiny, picturesque village of Skipwith only ten miles south of York, has great food, fine ales, plenty of gin, friendly atmosphere and has become one of the area’s main destination restaurant. The delicious created dishes are locally sourced from as close to our door step as possible and reflects the ever changing seasons, mirroring the wonderful walks to be found through Skipwith Common, right on its doorstep.

 

Having recently undergone a transforming £150,000 refurbishment, The Drovers Arms now oozes contemporary and stylish interiors, colours and designs which reflect the countryside and an ambiance to really soak up and enjoy!

Restaurant

Contemporary, stylish and comfortable, the Restaurant at The Drovers Arms is a great spot to eat, drink and relax. Our kitchen team are led by Head Chef Mike Cummings while the Front of House brigade are directed by owners Matt & Graham. The team will do everything possible to ensure you have an exceptional experience.

Country Pub

Award winning hand pull cask ales, over 60 gins, personally selected wine list. The Drovers Arms Country Pub is a great place to sit by the fire and enjoy a relaxing pint or delicious glass of wine. Dogs are also permitted into the bar area where our full menu is available.

Outside Garden, Huts & Tipi Experience

Our ever popular 'Garden', 'Huts' & 'Tipi' experiences.  Book for dinner under the stars, a hut for an intimate private dining experience with table top heaters or a table in the fully heated Tipi (blankets and rugs are also included).

Yorkshire Afternoon Tea

Our Yorkshire afternoon tea is inspired by the changing seasons and celebrates the amazing produce North Yorkshire has to offer.

Homemade fruit scones, fruit jams, clotted cream, seasonal finger sandwiches, macarons, a selection of miniature cakes and sweet treats, locally brewed tea and coffee.
